Mountain Mudd offers oak-roasted coffee that follows in the Italian tradition of our master roaster. Good coffee begins by searching for the best beans from among coffee plantations from all over the world. Our Master Roaster slowly, lovingly roasts each bean variety separately over an oak wood fire and only afterward blends them. Never rushed, this labor-intensive process enhances the flavor of coffee beans. The unmistakable aroma leads to a rich, smooth coffee without a trace of harsh acidity. Our Master Roaster is the first and only roaster to roast coffee beans exclusively over a fire fueled by oak wood. And to create his blended coffee, he individually roasts each variety of bean to allow their distinct characteristic to shine forth in our final coffee.
