I’m the kind of guy that wears a lot of hats. I’m a stand-up comedian and a graphic artist. If I’m not driving across the country, I’m engaged in some sort of creative activity. Either way, I go through more coffee than the average bear. Mountain Mudd is always around to give me a great pick-me-up. I love the coffee, it’s quick, and the baristas are some of the friendliest I’ve ever met in my life. When I’m not sipping on a 20 oz Mocha Mudd (and some times when I am), I’m also a freelance designer. I’ve been working with Mountain Mudd since 2003. As an independent contractor, it’s been a true joy to watch the growth of my business and the growth of Mountain Mudd as well. They are a joy to work with. I can tell they are committed to offering the best services and products from the consumer to the franchisee. Although I consider them consummate professionals, I love working with them because they are fun people. I’m excited to see what the future brings to the both of us.

The Mountain Mudd kiosk on our property is a value added bonus for our store. Not only do we receive rental income that goes directly to our bottom line, we’re pretty confident that the drive thru specialty coffee offering brings additional fuel sales to our location as well. The employees at the Mountain Mudd store use our facilities from time to time and are always personable and friendly. Since we share a lot of the same customers, we know each other well and both companies take pride in our appearances. We believe that we don’t compete with the offering Mountain Mudd presents. If we were approached by Mountain Mudd to lease space at any of our other locations we would seriously consider that as well. We find it to be a good fit for us.

I bought my Mountain Mudd franchise in 2009. I was looking for a new direction and Mountain Mudd offered a breath of fresh air while I was exploring business opportunities. The discovery process moved along at a pace I was comfortable with and when I met the staff in person I knew I’d found a good fit. After my initial deposit was placed, we got going right away on my location and permits. Before I knew it, we were up and running. Our training was eye opening to say the least. There is so much more to learn than I had imagined. Mountain Mudd is amazingly knowledgeable on the industry, product lines, chemistry, preparation, equipment, and the list just goes on and on. My sales are meeting expectations and my relationship with the corporate office is two-sided and very healthy. There is always someone I can call when I really need help.
